Robie Park

The design of Robie Park began as a community driven Master Plan process that consisted of surveys, a public charrette and an open house. AKLA worked closely with the Robie Park Steering Committee and Town of Gorham throughout the design process and met at various milestones to review progress. Various Concept Plans were distilled into one plan that was adopted by the Town Council. Since the adoption of the Master Plan, Phase One of Robie Park has been advanced to Construction Documents and is scheduled to be built summer of 2025. Phase One includes a play area for toddlers and school age children, as well as an embankment slide, paths, and landforms. Future phases of the park include a bike skills area for young children, basketball court, loop walk, bee keeping interpretive space, pergola for shade and signage.
