AKLA has collaborated extensively with the City of Sanford, Maine, on various park and streetscape opportunities. At Holdsworth Park, AKLA proposed adding terraced lawn panel ‘benches’ adjacent to the water as well as a re-aligned staircase to allow for ease of access, programming for community members/summer camps and lounging.
