AKLA was hired for conceptual design through construction documentation for a home located in Telluride, Colorado. From the conception of the project, AKLA helped to situate the home and provide access to outdoor spaces and circulation while perched on a steep hillside. Grading and visualization studies and multiple design iterations were studied. The house was ultimately constructed with cross laminated timber and the site is currently under construction.
