The design of Carpentier Park encompassed Concept Design through Construction Documents for an existing public park in much need of an infusion of energy and functional sequencing. The arrival included a parking lot re-configuration, accessibility considerations, and sidewalks. Other programmatic elements included a new park sign, bike parking, seating, and low wood fencing. Most importantly, six splash pad design alternatives were proposed with varying levels of complexity to embrace and augment the original aesthetic and colors of the existing park structure and organization.
