Bar J Ranch

AKLA in collaboration with KA DesignWorks created a Master Plan intended to distill the essential characteristics of the Bar-J property. The goal of the master plan is to help guide decision making around opportunities for redevelopment and preservation. The master plan began with a site inventory, including cursory zoning and land use analysis. Establishing the existing conditions and underlying zoning allowances, permitted the master plan to identify design opportunities and constraints. The document concludes with conceptual master plan alternatives exploring varied options for configuration of property lines, building massing, circulation, and landscape preservation.
