Sunday River Ski House

AKLA was hired after a plan was in place for a new ski house, and the team realized that the proposed driveway placement was not ideal for sitelines or grading. New driveway alternatives were studied and a revised site plan was adopted. A spa, and stairs connecting the spa to a lower interior bar, are some of the highlights of the site plan. Collaboration with the lighting designer also resulted in some fun lighting concepts, like the client’s favorite constellation created in the terrace around the spa with small spot lights.
