Our first foray into Vedic design, the California Retreat Facility is a close collaboration with a Vedic architect based in Kentucky and envisions a self-contained campus centered around transcendental meditation and connection with one another and the Earth. AKLA led the master planning process and developed visualizations which carefully integrate Vedic principles with site development and placemaking objectives.
