The AKLA design team had a great time collaborating with the architects and clients on the design of this home. The design process began with a walk in the woods with the client and design team to think about driveway, access, and beautiful ‘narnia like’ mossy vegetation that the client hoped to preserve. The home was situated around an intimate entry courtyard with low ground cover growing steadily around staggered pavers, a fire nook, spa, and forest sauna.
