The Jackson Historical Society impressively raised funds to move an existing building out of the floodplain to a more central location downstream. AKLA along with colleague Cristina Campa and project leader Tamarack Construction came up with a few plan alternatives for relocation while studying site constraints and feasibility. While studying the relocation of the building AKLA and Campa also dovetailed this effort with a ‘Safe Routes to School’ and road calming study for the grammar school and pedestrian circulation nearby.
